Stokers Siding Pottery & Gallery, home to world famous
potter,
Bob Connery, is located in an historic building just 40 minutes drive North of Byron Bay, 2km off
the Tweed Valley way on a scenic, sealed route to Mt Warning in the quaint
Village of Stokers Siding.
The gallery carries both functional and decorative pieces
with a wide range of pottery, ceramics, glass, jewellery, paintings, zyladrums, cards
and more from the best of the local Tweed artists.
See a range of Bob Connery's
spectacular smoked (reduced) lustreware for which he is gaining an
international reputation, especially in Japan.
When visiting Stokers Siding Pottery you should also plan to see the nearby Tweed River Art Gallery which is open from Wednesday to Sunday. The Tweed River Art Gallery, home to the famous Doug Moran Portrait Prize, has constantly changing exhibitions and the Gallery Café, which offers a range of fine food and coffee, as well as stunning views across the Tweed River to mountain ranges in the background.
